spent nearly an hour making this juice, but it was soooo worth it!
decided to make sprouted lentils seasoned with cumin, cayenne, fresh ginger root and sea salt, accompanied by a beautifully ripened baby avocado combined with lots of minced cilantro, diced sweet spanish onion, a spoonful of chickpea miso and fresh lime; both put in swiss chard leaves together and eaten like a wrap <3
hipraw13 asked: what are some good ideas for a simple raw dinner???
Well, I suppose it depends on what you’re going for. If fat isn’t a concern, in my opinion, adding avocado to some raw wraps or raw soup is a little party in itself! I also really happen to like making a broth with this organic chickpea miso (although technically not raw, it’s considered to be a live food) and lots of fresh herbs, lemon or lime and sometimes avocado (yum!).
But if you’re teetering towards a lower fat meal than I recommend checking out some of Dara’s more recently posted videos (she’s been more mindful of fat since December) or checking out this cutie’s videos. He’s more of a fruitarian, and he doesn’t give exact recipes, but he usually shows his salads and tells you whats in them before he goes on to talk about whatever’s on his mind. His most recent video (here) looks soo good! These also look good.
Hope this helps ya out, girly <3
Organic spaghetti squash and lentils with fresh cilantro and scallions, seasoned with cumin, cayenne, turmeric, a little garlic powder and sea salt, with fresh lime squeezed over everything at the end.
Serious comfort food in my book <3
Anonymous asked: what are some of your favorite raw recipes?
Hmm.. I’m not really sure. I’m not exactly a recipe person to be honest, mostly because I just make food intuitively and often use what I already have on hand.
But if you wanna know some of my favorite things to consume I’d have to say fresh juices (I have a few favorite combos), chia seed pudding, banana “milk”, I love dates on their own, pretty much anything with cilantro or ginger root, organic chickpea miso broth with lots of herbs and lemon/lime (technically not raw but it’s considered a “live” food), I’d like to try raw hummus (Dara Dubinet has a good recipe) and I used to make this super delicious salad consisting of green apple and a ripe avocado with fresh lime juice and a lil’ sea salt - soo yummy! (but not the best food combo for digestion)
When I do want to make a recipe I often just go to Dara Dubinet’s YouTube channel for a guideline/inspiration. Also, some of my favorite cuisines are Indian, Mexican, Thai/Vietnamese/Asian in general, and I tend to use those as another ‘guideline’ for flavor.
Hope this was helpful <3

New fruitarian sista on YouTube, living in the middle of nowhere (as she puts it) on a 600 acre ranch in Canada with 10 Siberian Huskies, educating others on how to live a raw lifestyle regardless of where you live.
I love this girl already <3

She has so much to teach in regards to raw food, nutrition, love and living a blissfully beautiful, balanced life! I highly recommend watching some of her videos to hear (and physically see - she glows and radiates vibrancy!) what she has to offer. You can find her videos here: Dara Dubinet
